We have an immediate opening at our Distribution Centre for a reliable and motivated individual to fill the position of Warehouse Associate/Order Picker based out of our Rocky View County, AB location (293029 James Jones Way #101, Rocky View County, AB).

  • This location is not easy to access via public transit, individuals should have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
  • Hours for this location are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, however, a variant of an 8-hour day with a 30-minute unpaid break, in a full-time position may occur.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup using pick lists, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Locate products efficiently within racking, shelving, and bin storage systems.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and product specifications prior to packing.
  • Package, label, and stage orders securely to prevent damage and ensure timely shipping or courier pickup.
  • Move inventory to designated storage and put-away locations.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment.
  • Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts and report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 or more years of experience in a warehouse setting required, preferably a distribution centre environment.
  • Experience with RF Scanners, hand tools and warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklifts, etc) would be a strong asset.
  • Strong communications skills and a team player who works productively with wide range of people
  • Proven reliability and consistent punctuality.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures.
  • Demonstrated initiative, with a willingness to learn and push themselves.
  • Able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, ratio, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to lift and carry up 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time standing, walking, bending, etc.
  • Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination for branch equipment.
